D6x3 mm Neodymium Disc Magnets

D6x3 mm neodymium disc magnets are small, round sintered NdFeB magnets measuring 6 mm in diameter and 3 mm in thickness. They feature a nickel-copper-nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni) coating and standard axial magnetization, with magnetic poles on the two flat faces.

This compact size is commonly used for concealed mounting under lids, behind signs and inside wooden components where installation space is limited.

We manufacture these NdFeB disc magnets in grades N35 to N52, with N42 as a commonly supplied option. Their compact size makes them suitable for holding photos, small latches and sensor components. Actual holding force depends on the magnetic grade, contact surface and installation conditions.

For the same 6 mm diameter, we offer 2 mm thickness for shallower installations, 3 mm as the standard size and 5 mm where greater holding force is required.

Axial magnetization is standard, while diametrical magnetization can be supplied for selected sensor and reed-switch applications.

The round shape allows these magnets to fit into matching recesses and sit flat against suitable mounting surfaces. Their small size makes them useful for cabinet catches, signs, craft and model projects, compact closures and hobby sensor assemblies.

The different thickness options allow customers to select a suitable magnet for their installation depth and holding force requirements.

As a neodymium magnet manufacturer with our own production facilities, we supply D6x3 mm disc magnets in different grades and coatings. Alternative 2 mm and 5 mm thicknesses are also available for the same 6 mm diameter.
