Founded in 2005, Shenzhen Hongyu Magnet Industry Co., Ltd. is a magnetic materials manufacturer integrating R&D, production and sales. Headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong, a city known for its convenient transportation and prosperous trade, the company has grown steadily for more than 20 years, establishing three production bases in Dongguan, Huizhou and Ningbo, together with a dedicated international trade department serving customers worldwide.
Hongyu employs over 260 professionals, including more than 20 R&D engineers and 30 QC specialists. The three production bases cover a total site area of about 20,000 m2 with approximately 15,000 m2 of buildings, housing 234 sets of production equipment and more than 30 sets of testing instruments. The annual production capacity exceeds 2,000 tons, with an annual output value of about RMB 200 million. The company is certified to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, and products are SGS-tested to comply with RoHS, REACH and other safety and environmental standards.

Our History
Since its founding in 2005, Hongyu has grown step by step from Shenzhen into a production and service network covering the Pearl River Delta and the Yangtze River Delta:
2005 Hongyu Magnet Industry was founded in Shenzhen, starting its magnetic materials business.
2007 Dongguan factory was established with NdFeB precision machining lines.
2010 Huizhou factory was established, adding ferrite and rubber magnet product lines.
2013 Ningbo magnetic material base was established, expanding injection moulded magnets and assemblies.
2015 International trade department was established to serve overseas markets.
2017 Shenzhen headquarters was established, overseeing R&D and global sales.
2018 Dongguan factory was relocated and expanded to 9,000 m2 of buildings.
2021 Combined annual capacity of the three bases exceeded 2,000 tons.
2022 Products were exported to more than 50 countries and regions.
2024 Production and testing equipment were fully upgraded with automation.
Production Bases
Headquartered in Bao'an District, Shenzhen, Hongyu operates three production bases with a total site area of about 20,000 m2. The Dongguan base (approx. 9,000 m2) specialises in NdFeB precision machining and surface treatment; the Huizhou base (approx. 6,000 m2) focuses on hard ferrite and rubber magnets; and the Ningbo base (approx. 5,000 m2) produces injection moulded magnets and magnetic assemblies. Standardised workshops and automated lines ensure stable supply and fast delivery. Staff dormitories, basketball courts, table tennis tables and fitness facilities provide a comfortable living environment, supported by a stable and experienced workforce.

Core Products
Hongyu supplies sintered NdFeB, bonded NdFeB, hard and soft ferrite, SmCo, AlNiCo, rubber magnets and various magnetic assemblies, with complete performance grades and a full range of specifications.
- NdFeB permanent magnets (core products): extremely high energy product and coercivity, widely used in new energy vehicles, wind power and industrial automation. Grades N35-N52 across seven temperature series (N, M, H, SH, UH, EH and AH), working temperature ≥-40 to 230 °C.
- Shapes and sizes: discs, rings, blocks and trapezoids from Ø1 to Ø150 mm, plus tiles, sectors, rhombuses, cones, T-shapes, runways and countersunk holes to customer requirement.
- Surface coatings: white zinc, black zinc, Ni-Cu-Ni, nickel, gold, silver, copper and epoxy, to suit different working environments.
- Magnetization directions: axial, diametric, multi-poles on the OD, radial multi-poles and Halbach, magnetised according to customer requirements.
- Hard ferrite magnets: high remanence, high coercivity and excellent cost performance for motors, loudspeakers and magnetic separation equipment.
- Soft ferrite materials: low loss and high permeability for transformers, inductors and filters, supporting the miniaturisation of electronic products.
- SmCo and AlNiCo: excellent temperature stability and corrosion resistance for high-temperature, harsh and dimensionally demanding applications.
- Rubber magnets and assemblies: grids, bars, plates, injection moulded magnets, rubber-coated pot magnets, salvage magnets, magnetic gears and couplings, all customisable to drawing.
