Inductive Sensor Magnet
Inductive sensor is a kind of device that uses the change of coil self inductance or mutual inductance coefficient to realize non electric measurement. Using inductive sensor, displacement, pressure, vibration, strain, flow and other parameters can be measured.
Inductive sensor is a kind of device that uses the change of coil self inductance or mutual inductance coefficient to realize non electric measurement. Using inductive sensor, displacement, pressure, vibration, strain, flow and other parameters can be measured. It has a series of advantages such as simple structure, high sensitivity, large output power, small output impedance, strong anti-interference ability and high measurement accuracy, so it has been widely used in electromechanical control systems. Its main disadvantage is that the response is slow and it is not suitable for fast dynamic measurement. Moreover, the resolution of the sensor is related to the measurement range. The measurement range is large and the resolution is low. On the contrary, it is high.
The basic principle of the inductive sensor is the principle of electromagnetic induction, that is, the measured non electric quantity (such as pressure, displacement, etc.) is converted into the change output of inductance through electromagnetic induction, and then the change of inductance is converted into the change of voltage or current through the measurement conversion circuit to realize the measurement of non electric quantity. Such inductors mainly include variable air gap inductance sensor, differential solenoid inductance sensor, differential transformer inductance sensor and eddy current inductance sensor.

Advantages:
(1) Simple and reliable structure;
(2) High sensitivity and maximum resolution of 0.1 μ m ;
(3) High measurement accuracy, output linearity up to ± 0.1%;
(4) The output power is large. In some cases, it can be directly connected to the secondary instrument without amplification.
Disadvantages:
(1) The frequency response of the sensor itself is not high and is not suitable for rapid dynamic measurement;
(2) The frequency and amplitude stability of the excitation power supply are required to be high;
(3) The resolution of the sensor is related to the measurement range. If the measurement range is large, the resolution is low; otherwise, it is high.
