Performance

These magnets have a high magnetic flux density and high coercive force, which makes them useful for applications that require strong magnetic fields. They also have good temperature stability and can operate in temperatures up to 500°C. However, their magnetic strength is relatively low compared to other types of magnets such as neodymium magnets.

manufacturing process

The production of AlNiCo rod magnets involves the following steps:

Melting the raw materials in a furnace

Pouring the molten metal into a mold

Cooling the mold

Removing the cast magnet from the mold

Machining and finishing the magnet to the desired specifications

Magnetizing the magnet by applying a magnetic field

Working environment

They can work in high temperature environments and are resistant to corrosion. They are also resistant to demagnetization and can maintain their magnetic properties over long periods of time.

For AlNiCo, each grade has its own μrec value and thus possesses different effective length factor k. AlNiCo magnet is susceptible to demagnetization due to lower coercivity and larger μrec, then a higher L/D ratio can improve operating point on the B-H curve, and this is the reason why AlNiCo magnet is generally long in length.
