The difference between isotropic and anisotropic of rubber magnet
Rubber magnets or plastic magnets are "bonded permanent magnet materials" in magnetic materials. It is to add an appropriate amount of permanent magnetic material tiny particles (needle-shaped particles are the best, like a tiny compass) into the rubber or plastic material, and the permanent magnetic material particles are fully mixed with rubber or plastic and dispersed evenly, and then press the rubber or The plastic manufacturing process is processed into the required size and shape, which is what people call rubber magnets or plastic magnets. For example, the door seal of a refrigerator is the most common rubber magnet.

Rubber magnets can be divided into isotropic and anisotropic. Relatively speaking, the anisotropic magnetism is better. On this basis, it can be divided into single-sided and double-sided magnetics, and you can choose adhesive or non-adhesive. .
Isotropy means that no external magnetic field is required when pressing and forming rubber magnets or plastic magnets. In this way, the direction of the tiny permanent magnet particles inside is randomly arranged, and there are all directions, the "isotropic" magnetic performance is lower, and the single production cost is also lower.
Anisotropy means that when pressing and molding rubber magnets or plastic magnets, a magnetic field needs to be added. In this way, the direction of the tiny permanent magnet particles inside is arranged in one direction, the stronger the external magnetic field, the higher the consistency of the arrangement and the higher its magnetic performance. Of course, the cost is also higher. This can satisfy different usage objects.
Add magnet powder and various compounding agents to rubber to make magnetic rubber sheet (rubber soft magnetic) through banburying, calendering vulcanization, withdrawal vulcanization and other processes. It can be made into single-sided and double-sided magnetized. Its main physical properties are high specific gravity, high hardness, good flatness and brightness, good wear resistance and high pressure resistance, and its length It can be cut or rolled according to actual needs.
Due to the high plasticity of the rubber magnetic material itself, the finished or semi-finished products can be cut, punched and mounted with other materials at will, and it is not easy to demagnetize, and it also has good corrosion resistance.
Compared with the magnetic properties between anisotropic rubber magnets, anisotropic rubber magnets have a higher magnetic function.
Isotropic rubber magnets have lower density and temperature than anisotropic rubber magnets.
Isotropic rubber magnets are mainly used in refrigerator magnets, printed products, stationery, and promotional products; anisotropic rubber magnets are mainly used in micro motors, computers, laser printers, copiers, magnetic toys and other fields.
