Introduction of drone motor magnet

There are two types of brushless drone motors: one is the inner rotor brushless motor, and the other is the outer rotor brushless motor. The inner rotor brushless motor means that the motor axis can rotate, the coil is in the motor casing, and the magnet is in the axis. The outer rotor brushless motor means that the motor casing can rotate, the coil is on the axis, and the magnet is on the casing.

About UAV Engines
The speed of the rotor can be changed by adjusting the speed of each motor, so as to realize the change of lift force and control the flight attitude and position. Current multi-rotor drones basically use brushless direct current (bldc) motors. The brushless DC motor is composed of a permanent magnet rotor, a multi-pole winding stator and a position sensor, and a semiconductor switch is used to replace the traditional contact commutator to realize the electronic commutator.

Research Progress of UAV Engine Magnets
Drone motor magnets have made some progress recently. Using its advanced and innovative injection molding process, Aichi Steel has achieved a 30% weight reduction compared to conventional motor designs. Thereby improving the carrying capacity and flight time. Some users also use radial ring magnets instead of arc magnets for the many advantages they claim.

UAV motors use 14-pole ring magnets instead of arc segment advantages;
1. Easy to assemble
2. Lower the temperature
3. Improve safety performance
4. Extend the service life
